Data deletion instructions
From the Arugula Privacy Policy, version 1, effective 26 October 2026.
How to ask us to delete your data
- 1
Write to [email protected].
- 2
Because requests from surfaces are not linked to your identity, we usually cannot find them without your session token; if you have it, send it to us and we will delete the records it points to.
- 3
We answer within 30 days.
If you believe a child has used Arugula, contact us and we will delete the records.
If you used Arugula in a chat
Arugula's chat bots (Telegram, Messenger and Instagram) open an anonymous session for each chat. Arugula keeps the platform's user ID only as an HMAC, a pseudonymous reference, never the raw ID, the name or the profile. The text of a request is used to find offers.
What is deleted without a request
From section 5 of the Privacy Policy:
- Request text, images and model outputs that quote them: reduced to a hash after 30 days. The structured request, category and channel tag are kept.
- Session tokens and their history: 30 days from last use, then deleted.
- Click records: 24 months, for payout reconciliation and dispute handling.
- Technical logs: 90 days.
- Unmet-demand records: indefinitely, in structured form only, without request text.
- Surface owner and seller account data: for the life of the account and 7 years after, for Singapore tax and accounting rules.
