Arugula Marketplace

Send your list. We do the shopping.

Type what you need in WhatsApp, the way you would send it to a friend. You get one basket across every shop, with every price and delivery date, and you pay once.

The problem

Thirty-nine percent of Singapore shoppers are less than satisfied with online shopping, and delivery cost, price and delivery time top their complaints. Sixty-two percent say they would like to buy directly in a chat.

How it works

  1. 1

    Send your list.

"Pampers size 4 x2, Dettol 2L, Milo 1.5 kg." Plain words are enough.

  2. 2

    Pick where it matters.

Each line goes to the Arugula engine, which finds where it is sold, at what price and how fast it arrives. Where more than one option fits, you choose.

  3. 3

    Check one basket.

Every line shows the price, the seller and the delivery date. Items from one seller arrive together; items from different sellers are shown as separate deliveries.

  4. 4

    Pay once.

By PayNow or card, on a secure payment page.

  5. 5

    Follow it in the chat.

We place the orders on your behalf, to your address. Receipts and tracking come back in the same conversation.

Getting started

Four replies and you can order.

  1. 1Agree to the terms.
  2. 2Tell us your name.
  3. 3Send your postal code and unit number. We fill in the street.
  4. 4Send your list.

Card details are entered only on the secure payment page, never in the chat.

What you pay

The price of the items, the seller's delivery fee where there is one, and a 7% service fee. Everything is shown in the basket before you pay.

What we promise

  • Prices held for 30 minutes. Your quote stays valid until the payment link expires.

  • No surprises after you pay. If a price rises or an item runs out, we absorb the difference or refund that line.

  • Ranked by fit. We show the options that match what you asked for, not the ones that paid to be seen.
